Some better pix. It doesn't fit correctly on my car because of the roll cage - to fit my car, I would need to trim the seal mounting areas to get past the cage.

This is the first carbon one made, and it's a blem. It can be fixed with some bodywork, but it's not nice enough to be used 'raw'

This is a front engined V-8 Porsche. The chassis is from a 1967 912. I purchased from an estate. The car was never finished and the owner had passed, so I have little information. He had previously built a mid-engined Porsche powered by a Corvair engine. (Anyone ever seen that car??).The engine in this car is a Chev. 327, radiator is from a Gurney Eagle. The third member is an Oldsmobile Toronado fwd, (now rwd !), and a spare goes with car. There is no glass in car, most of interior parts seem to be there, and there appear to be a number of duplicate/triplicates. I would guess seats are from a 914. The owner's daughter said her father did drive the car once, in its present state. It has not been turned over for more than 15 years from what I can determine. There's lots of work to be done, and way over my head. He was apparently a good engineer and has routed the exhaust through the lower rocker panels, and exits at rear through a standard Porsche "can" exhaust muffler. The three instruments in place are the clock, speedometer and fuel/temp gauge, the tachometer and combination gauge are missing. The flares are very tastefully done, and are steel, not fibreglass. He was going to market these. In spite of poor color retention on photographs, the paint is fire engine red, but needs polishing out. It's very well painted. If nothing else, break for parts...
